Thanks for stopping by! I truly love what I do and watching families grow, I am blessed to be able to capture these moments for you and your family. Growing up, there were two things that I was extremely passionate about; babies and photography. Every year my parents would get me and my four siblings dressed up (in horrible matching outfits) and we would spend a day getting the perfect Christmas card picture. I vividly remember those being some of my favorite days. Two of my favorite books growing up were baby name books and Anne Geddes work (lol), I was fascinated. I was never the girl who knew exactly what I wanted to do “when I grew up”, while majoring in Early Childhood development I had dreams of opening a daycare, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would end up as a baby photographer but looking back at all those memories, it all makes sense that I ended up here. My passion for babies quickly turned into a passion for not only babies but all things motherhood, it’s a beautiful, fleeting time in life and I am honored to capture the happiest moments for my clients. In 2012 I started Michaela Marie Photography as a hobby, in 2013 I signed my first studio lease and in 2014 it became my full time job. I quickly knew that I wanted to specialize in newborns and haven’t looked back.
